Americana Day at the 11th Maui Festival 2024
A celebration of Americana Music in all its many forms will be performed by talented purveyors of this music genre on Sunday 25th August 2024 at the 3 day Maui Music and Performing Arts Festival, held at a beautiful ancient meadowland site at Gressenhall, near Dereham in Norfolk.
Acts from the US include Amanda Anne Platt (from The Honeycutters), Hannah Kamina and Tony Brook. From Canada, incredible bluesman Tim Lee and from the UK, The Horse Puppets, J.S. and The Lockerbillies (high paced rock’n’roll), The Vagaband, The Delta Jacks, Dove and Boweevil plus Dobro legend, Noel Dashwood.
Plus more acts will be showcasing their music on any of the six stages at The Maui Festival.
Maui is a 3 day and 4 night festival of international music, performance and arts.
Now in it 11th year it is fast becoming one of the most exciting festivals in East Anglia, attracting over 100 bands, talented performers and incredible international acts.
As well as the Americana Music Stage, there will be five other stages, encompassing music, comedy, cabaret, DJ dance tents, a circus big top, the Living Art Show (body painting), Maui’s Got Talent and a large enclosed Kid’s Arena with lots to do for children who have FREE ENTRY (13yrs & under) throughout the weekend!
Creativity, art and extravagant décor is a crucial part of Maui Waui. Months of creative work go into the event, ensuring that its 6 venues and many attractions really look the part.
The festival is proud to have a green policy, recycling 80 % of all rubbish on site. They use Solar energy to power the lighting around the site and have ethical trading and food standards plus only charge their food & drink vendors reasonable rates to keep refreshments affordable.
