Dan Webster and Emily Lawler deliver a compelling transatlantic blend of Americana, country, folk, and roots. Hailing from York the duo has won over audiences across the UK and Australia with their captivating live performances and finely crafted songs.
Dan Webster has been described as one of the U.K’s best kept musical secrets and one not to miss! He is a road-seasoned English singer-songwriter and guitarist, whose music is influenced by the sounds and storytelling traditions of Americana, which he uniquely melds with an honest Northern English perspective in his songwriting.
Though his sound is unashamedly influenced by the US, his heart remains a Yorkshireman’s with songs weaving tales of family, fishing and life’s emotional undercurrents that echo with the spirit of bluegrass, country and English folk.

At his side, Emily Lawler brings extraordinary fiddle work shaped by Celtic, country and folk influences, along with soaring harmonies that add richness and depth to the duo's sound. She started playing the guitar and writing songs during lockdown and is now gigging as a singer-songwriter around the UK - an exciting emerging talent.
Together Dan and Emily bring to the stage an energising combination of distinctive warm and powerful vocals and guitar interlaced with a dexterous meld of celtic- and country- style fiddling and beautiful harmonies and they have become favourites on the UK festival scene, playing major sets at Green Man, Shambala, Kendal Calling, and Maverick Festival.
